Our Team

Brother Tim Cline and his wife Earline joined our church in November 2018.  He has served as youth minister and pastor in churches in North Central, East and West, Tx.  Bro Tim has a Bachelor's in both Christian Ministries and Management from Dallas Baptist University.  He is currently pursuing his Masters of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.  They have three married children and six grandchildren.

Serena Miller

Brittany Douglas has been a resident of the Merit Community her entire life. After attending Bland High School, she graduated from Texas A&M University - Commerce with a degree in Animal Science. She began her career as an Agricultural Science teacher in 2012, and is currently teaching at Farmersville ISD. After joining Merit Baptist Church in 2018, she began working with the Children’s Ministry through the AWANAS program. In August, Brittany began serving as the Youth Leader for the Merit Baptist Youth Ministry. This program is available to students enrolled in grades 6 - 12. They meet every Wednesday night at 5:15pm and Sunday Mornings at 9:45 am.
